Boston
This is a proof late in the develpoment effort.  An aquatint was applied to the buildings and clouds but came out too abstract.  So, I sanded down the sky leaving much of the tint in the buidlings.  Later I added in the foreground, the Public Gardens (which was really modeled after my Esplanade works), but it fits pretty well (I had some bad proofs of the Esplanade and made a 3D version of this using the pieces of the proofs that were left.  I then added foam core between the layers).   I titleld it the first 3D Etching (of Boston)).  Please note that between the Hancock Towers on the left (worlds first plywood skyscraper, whose windows had a habit of breaking when the building swayed - which was resolved by huge weights on the top floor and at one point with spotters looking for changes in the glass color before breakage so they could reverse the A/C to prevent glas from falling out (but instead in?)), and the Prudential on the right, a new building was added in the 80's for apartments and condo's by the Ritz.   The new square buidling kind of ruined the esthetics of the mid 70's view so I let if out.  This would be circa '77.
